All the cleaning power of PURGA™ in a pellet concentrate!

PURGA™ purge concentrate allows rapid color and material changes in all plastics converting machines.  It can be used with all common thermoplastics resins and effectively purges cylinders, extruder screws, hot runner molds, hot channel dies, etc.

INSTRUCTIONS 

         1. Thoroughly mix PURGA™ purge concentrate with follow-up resin or polyethylene resin in  ratio of one pound PURGA™ purge : for each 9 pounds of resin.
2. Ensure that hopper feed zone cooling is operative.
3. No need to change temperature.
4. Fill purge mixture into clean, empty hopper.
5. Reduce screw speed.
6. Once purging is complete, resume feeding with follow-up resin.
7. Continue extruding until extrudate is blister free.
8. Example of average consumption:
    A 120 mm extruder requires approximately 55 pounds of resin    mixed with 5 pounds of     PURGA™ purge concentrate.

 CAUTION                                                                                  

          1. Not to be used in cross linked material.
          2. Vented barrels must be closed off.
          3. Do not pre dry or place in hopper dryers.
          4. Remove Screen Pack.

Always ensure a minimum mixing ratio of 1 part Purga : 9 parts resin.
